Ravens trade Pro Bowl OT Orlando Brown to Chiefs for haul of draft picks

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Kansas City Chiefs are trading their first-round pick for the upcoming NFL Draft that opens Thursday, as well as three other selections for the 2021 and 2022 drafts, for Baltimore Ravens offensive tackle Orlando Brown.

Brown requested a trade from Baltimore so he could play left tackle full-time, but he may want to rent in his new city before he buys. Schefter added that Brown, who is on the last year of his current contract, does not yet have a new agreement with Kansas City.

Meanwhile, reports surfaced earlier this week that former Pittsburgh Steelers tackle Alejandro Villanueva would be visiting the Ravens.

"He’s graded between 74.0 and 82.0 in each of his last five seasons; he ranks in the 54th percentile in PFF pass-blocking grade and the 46th percentile in pass-blocking grade on true pass sets during that time," Pro Football Focus explains about Villanueva.

Brown, meanwhile, earned Pro Bowl nods in each of the past two seasons and will now be tasked with protecting one-time Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Patrick Mahomes.
