The Los Angeles Rams agreed to trade Pro Bowl cornerback Jalen Ramsey to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, apparently leaving at least one other team out in the cold.
Per Jordan Schulz of 'The Score,' the Detroit Lions also had interest in Ramsey, though it is not currently clear if Detroit and Los Angeles ever reached the point of a more in-depth trade discussion.
Detroit was among the first teams linked to Ramsey when rumors of his availability began to spark in earnest earlier this offseason. While the Lions may not have been able to add Ramsey, they remain one of the NFC's more intriguing dark horse candidates to take a true step forward in the fall.

The Dolphins completed their trade for Ramsey on the cheap, ultimately, surrendering just a third-round pick (plus tight end Hunter Long) for the star corner.
