Lazio have reportedly sent in an offer to Inter veteran Alexis Sanchez ahead of his contract’s expiration in the summer.

The 35-year-old Chilean forward has been a useful member of Simone Inzaghi’s squad in the Lombardy capital this term, netting four goals and providing four assists across 30 appearances, mostly acting as a late option off the bench.

Lazio are gearing up to shake up their squad in the summer transfer window, needing to find the right players for Igor Tudor’s new system. The Crotian coach has started well and there is excitement ahead of the new season.

As reported by Argentine journalist Hernán Castillo, Lazio have sent an offer to Sanchez ahead of his Inter exit in the summer, keen to snap up the experienced forward on a free transfer. He knows Tudor well, having worked with him at Olympique Marseille.

River Plate are also interested in the 35-year-old, but for now the Biancocelesti appear to be leading the race for the former Arsenal man.
