Paris Saint-Germain could be tapping into the Ligue 1 market again to bolster their team. After years of neglecting the league, under sporting advisor Luis Campos, another player from France’s top flight could be joining the club soon.

Sky reporter Florian Plettenberg reports that after losing Milan Skriniar for a few months, PSG is tapping into the Ligue 1 market to find a replacement. According to Plettenberg, PSG has expressed interest in Kevin Danso, the 25-year-old central defender from RC Lens.

The file is in its initial phase since it was just a preliminary contact. The player is willing to depart from Lens next summer, although this stance could shift if Paris expresses a strong interest in signing him.

On Monday, Skriniar underwent successful retinal surgery at the ASPETAR Hospital in Doha. The club statement confirms that he will observe rest for the next few days before commencing his recovery protocol.

As a result, PSG needs a center defender despite the addition of Lucas Beraldo. It will be interesting to see if the Ligue 1 side can find a deal that makes sense before the January transfer window closes.
