Liverpool watching Real Sociedad midfield pair

Liverpool are watching two Real Sociedad midfielders.

Mundo Deportivo says the Reds are watching closely Martin Zubimendi and Mikel Merino this season.

Its suggested Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is still keen to strengthen his midfield and La Real's pair are on his radar.

Merino has previous experience in England with Newcastle United.

Arsenal have also held a long-term interest in Zubimendi.
